Julius Caesar was Assassinated

Julius Caesar was assassinated earlier this morning while he was meeting with the senate. He was walking in when-BOOM-they stabbed him. This was very devastating news. Many people in Rome thought that he was a very good dictator because he created many good things for Rome. I will tell you about the death of Julius Caesar.
Julius Caesar was a Roman general. Julius Caesar had to fight against Pompey. Julius Caesar ended up winning against Pompey, after that, the senate declared him "dictator for life." Once the senate did this they feared that Julius would want to overthrow them.
Decimus Brutus and killed Julius Caesar. They told reporters that he was becoming too power hungry. Julius died a Dictator. This declaration made several senators fear that Caesar wanted to overthrow the Senate in favor of tyranny. The citizens did not like this because he gave the poor people free entertainment like gladiator fights and chariot races, bread and they were allowed to go into the public bath. Julius also made coliseums and libraries.
There were rumors about the plot and warnings were given to Julius Caesar about him going to be assassinated. His wife dreamt so terrible a dream that he almost gave into her begging for him to stay at home. However, Decimus Brutus came in and laughed him out of it. Julius ended up going and later getting assassinated. He was killed in the Theatre of Pompey.
Julius Caesar's death was a very devastating death to all of us. The fact is we will all have to move on from this tragedy.
